What it is
MAT Bank began in 2022 as a JavaFX course project at MIST, by me, Mehmil Khan and Farheen Mahjarin Trisha. Version 2.0 keeps the same screens and ideas and replaces the foundations underneath.
Text files became SQLite with versioned migrations. Money moved from doubles to exact integer poisha in one ledger with running balances. Plain-text passwords became bcrypt hashes with lockout and an audit log, and transfers now run in one all-or-nothing database transaction.
